This site collects very little about you. This page explains exactly what it keeps, and why.

The short version
- You do not need an account to use this site, and there is no sign up.
- The site has no contact forms, so it does not collect names or emails.
- The site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- The site does not sell or share information about its visitors.
What is saved on your device
If you use the reduce motion switch, the site remembers your choice in your browser's local storage so that pages stay still on your next visit. This setting never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.
Visitors receive no cookies from this site. The only cookie it ever sets belongs to the lodge's site administrator: signing in to manage events sets one cookie in that browser to keep the session open. It holds an expiry time and a security signature, nothing personal, and it ends when the administrator signs out or the session expires.
What the lodge stores
The site keeps one kind of record: the events the lodge posts. Each event has a title, a date, a place, a short summary, the full text and, sometimes, a photo. The site administrator writes these, and they are shown publicly once published.
The names of officers and Past Masters are part of the lodge's own public record and are written into the site itself. Event photos may show brethren and guests taking part. If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, send a message to the lodge and it will be taken down.
Technical logs
Like most websites, the server that runs this site may keep short technical logs, such as the address of the device that made a request, the page asked for and the time. These logs exist to keep the site working and secure. The lodge does not use them to identify or follow visitors.
The fonts used on this site are served from the site itself, so loading a page does not send your visit to a font service.
Facebook and YouTube
The site links to the lodge pages on Facebook and YouTube but does not embed them. Nothing is sent to those services until you follow a link. Once you are on their sites, their own privacy policies apply.
Questions and changes
For any question about your information, or to ask for a photo to be removed, send a message to the lodge Facebook page (opens in a new tab).
If the site ever starts to collect anything new, this page will say so first, with a new date at the top. The rules for using the site are in the Terms of Service.
